Nyckelviksskolan is happy to present the exhibition FREEDOM, featuring 22 posters by Italian visual artisan Mauro Bubbico.
FREEDOM showcases Bubbico’s both playful and profound graphic work, where he departs from the visual traditions and codes of his native region of Basilicata to give form to a unique contemporary expression. The exhibition accompanies a 2-day creative session for graphic designers on the theme of flags and political representation.
FREEDOM is arranged as a collaboration between Nyckelvisskolan and the Abadir Design Academy in Catania (Sicily, Italy) and is part of the artistic research project The Power of Recognition, run by graphic designers Johanna Lewengard and Benedetta Crippa at Luleå University of Technology.
